Week 1 Day 1 SLJ

Canned Fruit because I like fruit and normal fruit goes off easily, so when it is canned it will last longer.

Bread because It is high on energy and doesn't really need a fridge.

Bagged chips because they can be used for a snack and they keep well.

Energy bars because they are in packets and won't go off.

Canned meat because you still need protein and you won't have dairy.

Nuts because they are good for snacks.

Beef jerky and dried fruits because they will keep and are good for snack.

Bagels because they are tasty and keep well.

Crackers because they keep well.

Fresh water because if I don't bring it I will die of thirst.

    I appreciate how you've expanded beyond the food items and given reason for each item, thank you. I have one question for you, you mention that canned meat will provide you with protein as you won't have dairy, can you tell me what you mean by this?

  2. Dairy spoils easily so it wouldn't do any good to bring it along.
